The Allwinner H313 is a new SoC from this Chinese brand that we found by surprise today in the new TV Box X96Q. The new Allwinner H313 is a SoC that would fit between the low-end Allwinner H603 chip and the superior Allwinner H616. This SoC has an internal design very similar to the Amlogic S905x2 as it includes ARM Cortex-A53 processors and a Mali-G31 MP2 GPU with support for OpenGL ES 3.2, Vulkan 1.1 and OpenCL 2.0 APIs. It also includes the Allwinner SmartColor 3.3 engine for image enhancement, support for Dolby and DTS audio and continues with the manufacturing process at 28nm.
Regarding the TV-Box X96Q where this new SoC is integrated, it is a very limited low range and that only stands out for including Android 10, although this is not a guarantee of anything as we saw in the review of the unfortunate Tanix TX6S that includes Android 10 and also a last batch SoC from allwinner.
SoC, RAM and storage
The TV-Box X96Q includes as motor the Allwinner H313 SoC a Quad Core with ARM Cortex-A53 processors that integrates Mali-G31 MP2 GPU with native decoding of h.265 and VP9 codecs and support for HDR10 video. We have on board versions with 1/2GB of DDR3 RAM and 8/16GB of eMMc storage memory that can be expanded from the microSD card reader that includes this equipment on one side.
At the level of wireless connectivity this box has wifi b/g/n and without Bluetooth. As connectors we have an HDMI 2.0a interface, 10/100 network connector, a USB 2.0 port, another USB 3.0, a 3.5mm jack through which we have analog audio and video output and a jack to connect the IR sensor . A basic quality IR remote control with hotkeys is also delivered with this TV-Box.
