We found today a new console Anbernic Win600 updated, this console with hardware certainly different from the usual offers us a mini portable PC in the style of Steam Deck, but with less power.
This console improves over the previous version, as we now have 16 GB RAM memory with 3200 MHz speed, a crucial point to get more performance from the low-power AMD Athlon Silver 3050E APU. With this processor, we have enough power to run Windows and many common desktop programs. In the graphics section we have a Radeon Vega 3 GPU that although it is low-end among similar Vega, far exceeds the Intel HD that we usually see in Celeron or Pentium.
This small computer comes with Windows 10 installed, but it is also possible to install Steam OS, so we can simulate a Steam Deck in all its glory. As emulators, we can run numerous classic consoles and not very demanding titles of systems as demanding as XBOX 360 or PS3.

The upgraded Anbernic Win600 includes an AMD Athlon Silver 3050E processor, a Dual Core with four threads that reaches up to 2.8GHz. This chip has a TPD consumption of only 6 W. As for the graphics solution we have a Radeon Vega 3 GPU that reaches up to 1GHz speed, a very well known graphics and with solid drivers that allows us to use it without problems in Windows. In this new version of the console has 16 GB of DRR4 RAM now with a speed of 3200MHz in a SODIMM module. For storage we have a 1 TB M.2 2242 SSD that can be replaced by another.+
Display and other features
On the front we have a 5.94″ IPS + OCA laminate display with a resolution of 1280×720 and a light output of 400 nits. In the field of wireless connectivity we have a Wifi aC Dual Band adapter and Bluetooth 4.2. On the perimeter of the case we have a USB 3.0 port and another USB 3.1 port with DispayPort video output capable of supporting resolutions up to 4K@60fps.
In terms of controls, we have two analog sticks, directional pad, four main buttons, two for extra functions and four rear triggers. We have integrated vibration system and the case is ergonomically designed to hold it for long periods.
To keep it on we have two 8.7V 4500 mAh batteries that give us an autonomy of about 3 hours and we have 45 W fast charge as standard.
Price and availability
- The Anbernic Win600 can be purchased on AliExpress only for $607 in this improved version, a somewhat high price for the moment that we hope to lower the price.
