Apple TV now available for the Chromecast Google TV

As promised by Google we already have available for download from the app store the Apple TV service application for the new Chromecast with Google TV, soon will be available for Sony and TCL smart TVs with Google TV as we can read in the Google presentation.

The Apple TV App has arrived as promised by Google and from it we can already access the contents of Apple TV+, if we are subscribers for $45.99 / €4.99 per month, although we can try it for free for 7 days. The available catalog is quite large, although with little own content and how could it be otherwise includes many titles in 4K HDR quality. The App is also integrated with the Google voice assistant and we can open any title from it.

Through the App, and without the need to enter Apple TV+, we can access the rental and purchase of all kinds of content and even enjoy chapters of free series such as Defender Jacob, Tehran, Central park, Little Voice and many more.

Through the Apple TV app we also have access to pay channels such as STARZPLAY, movies and series and NOGGIN, a service designed especially for the little ones at home. We also have the viewer’s day on Wednesday, with a movie rental at $0.99 / $0.99 and other rentals at a reduced price.

This new streaming service is also included in the recommendations of Google TV as already do others paid streaming services like Amazon Prime Video or Netflix and that we can configure.

In addition to Chromecast with Google TV, the Apple TV app will also be available on Google TVs from Sony and TCL. We plan to roll out to more Android TV-powered devices in the coming months.
