Today we have a new mini PC with the name of BEBEPC X85, a peculiar computer of small dimensions that surprises us with the inclusion of an IR port.
Thanks to the IR port we can use a Windows Media remote control to control multimedia apps such as KODI or others. This mini PC has Intel 10Gen processors up to i7 that makes it valid for office automation, graphic design, computing and if we opt for the most powerful versions, we can also use it as a 4K HTPC. Inside this small box with multiple ventilation slots we have a small fan to cool the processor. Processors that you can see in action in one of our reviews for similar equipment.
BEBEPC X85 Specifications
This small mini PC BEBEPC X85 has different variants with 10th Generation Intel processors in particular is sent, it offers a wide selection of processors which include the Intel Core i7-10510U, i5-10510U and i3-10110U. Depending on the power we need, we can opt for one option or another, all of them have a fairly simple Intel HD Graphics GPU that can be used for simple games, browsing, office and multimedia.
For RAM we have available 2 SODIMM sockets with different DDR4 RAM options in Dual Channel configuration. As for storage, we find a port for M.2 MVMe / SATA SSD drives. Inside it has a fan to keep temperatures at bay by expelling air from the side.
Other features
In the wireless connectivity section, we have as standard a Wifi 6 + BT adapter installed in the M.2 slot that connect to two internal antennas. In the field of connectors on this mini PC we have available on the front a USB-A 3.0 port, a USB-C 3.0 connector, 3.5 mm audio jack and IR receiver on the front.
On the back we also have two 2.5GB Ethernet ports, two USB-A 3.0, a USB 3.1 Type-C (Thunderbold 3) and HDMI 2.0 video output that supports video output resolution up to 4K@60fps. We do not know if it is compatible with VESA d support, the measurements of its aluminum case are 118 x 118 x 49 mm.
