Beelink GT-King TV Boxes will receive dual OS support with CoreELEC


From Beelink we get the news of a new dual boot system for your Beelink GT-King and Beelink GT-King Pro TV-Box models, two devices that will soon be officially supported by CoreELEC thanks to the collaboration of this brand with this community. Soon we will also see this option on other Beelink TV-Box such as the GT1 mini.

In the new firmware that will be released soon we will have in the shutdown menu an option to restart the system with CoreELEC or return to Android. By default, Beelink GT-King models will come with an SD card gift with CoreElec already configured for these models. You can freely test how CoreELEC works on GT-King with the current image for this device, although we will not have an OS change menu, to install it on our microSD you can follow our manual.

The Beelink GT-King PRO includes the Amlogic S922X-H Hexa Core SoC with 4 ARM Cortex-A73 processors capable of reaching 1.8Ghz + 2 Cortex-A53 RAM processors with a GPU is an ARM Mali-G52 MP6, the model Beelink GT-King includes the Amlogic S922X SoC somewhat less powerful.
