Another interesting Chinese miniPC that comes to us from the BMAX brand, known until recently only for its laptops with very good value for money. The BMAX B3 Plus miniPC is its latest equipment that includes the typical quadrangular case although made of metal and that is moved by a rather unusual processor in the Chinese market, a 9th Generation Pentium Gold 5405U. The rest of its hardware is at a good level, with 8GB of RAM and an M.2 NVMe disk, this miniPC can move Windows 10 and the vast majority of programs on the market without blinking.
Processor, RAM and storage
The BMAX B3 Plus includes at its heart an Intel Pentium Gold 5405U processor, a Dual Core with a 2.3GHz base frequency that integrates an Intel 610 UHD Graphics GPU with 12EU and a 15W TDP. A processor that is this time cooled by a fan The included RAM is 8GB of DDR4 RAM and includes a 256GB capacity M.2 NVMe SSD as standard.
At the network connectivity level we have WiFi aC, Bluetooth 5.0 and a Gigabit ethernet connector. The included ports are 2 USB 3.0, 2 USB 2.0, 3.5mm audio jack, a microSD card reader, a USB Type-C with data/video output, an HDMi 1.4 and a miniDP video output capable of reaching resolutions up to 4096×2304 @ 60Hz.
