The cheap range of laptops is the queen of sales, as many people use these laptops occasionally or do not need a lot of power for their daily use.
The Coolby SealBook is a fairly decent cheap laptop for its price, since it includes a 15.6-inch IPS Full HD screen and 6 GB of RAM with which we can move Windows quite well. As engine, this laptop has the Intel Celeron J4005 processor, a valid chip for office automation, video conferencing, browsing the web or multimedia without problems. By the way, the Celeron J4005 is a chip that until now we had only seen in miniPCs like the ALLDOCUBE Superbox B02.
Its exterior design, where plastic is king, is not particularly striking and weighs around 1.7 kg. A cheap and simple laptop suitable for those who are looking for something cheap and do not have great pretensions.
Coolby SealBook Specifications
The Coolby SealBook includes within its body a Gemini lake processor manufactured in 14nm, the Dual Core Intel Celeron J4005 that can reach 2.7 Ghz. In the graphic section, it integrates an Intel HD Graphics 600 GPU compatible with VP9 and h.265 codecs and that can reach a top speed of 700Mhz. A basic range processor but enough for office programs, navigation and YouTube.
Also includes, 6 GB of DDR4 RAM, it is not specified if they are expandable, and a 128 GB capacity M.2 SSD for storage and where the operating system is installed.
Screen and other features
The Coolby SealBook‘s screen is a 15.6-inch IPS with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, brightness of 300 nits and an aspect ratio of 16:9. At the top of the screen we have an HD camera with a microphone, while for wireless connectivity we have Dual Band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2.
As for connectors, we have a USB 3.0 port, another USB 2.0, HDMI video output, micro SD card reader and a 3.5 mm audio jack for headphones or external speakers. The battery is 32.2 Wh (4500 mAh/7.8 V) and has an autonomy that, according to the brand, is around 6-8 hours.
The factory-installed operating system is Windows 10 Pro. We have a full keyboard in English with good space between keys.
