A new miniPC of the brand ECS has just been presented, a team that stands out for its compact size and for this fanless design (0 noise). ECS LIVA Z2L includes Gemini Lake processors of low consumption and also surprise us for its capacity of expansion since we have two slots for So-DIMM modules and space to install a storage unit of 2.5″. Optionally we can also have a GPIO interface that will delight the most developers. As always the operating system is not included although this miniPc is compatible with Windows 10 and Linux.
Processor, RAM and storage
The ECS LIVA Z2L mini PC can include Intel Celeron N4000, 4100 and Pentium N5000 low-power processors with 2 / 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM, 32 / 64GB of eMMC storage memory and a 2.5 “storage unit.
Other specifications
At the level of wireless connectivity we have installed in an M.2 module an adapter with WiFi aC and Bluetooth 4.2 that we can replace with another. As for connectors, it includes 3 USB 3.0 ports, a USB Type-C port and an audio jack while in the back there are 2 USB 2.0 ports, Gigabit network connector and HDMI 1.4 and VGA video ports. Also note that we have a compatible Cortana microphone on the front and a VESA adapter is included to mount it behind any screen
