Hi this software update is compatible with the tanix tx6 2gb of ram and 16gb of memory with only 2.4ghz wifi? Because my tanix tx6 has the problem of crackling audio

Hi,
I have some new version of TX6 model, with some different type of WiFi modul. My box came with firmware version dated july 2019. It has dualband wifi. After flashing this 06-15-2019 firmaware it support only 2,4G WiFi now. I can’t find any version of firmware that supports daul band wifi on my TX6. With the older version of firmware I even can’t turn the WiFi on.
I can’t find the July version of firmware, that my TX6 came with.
Do you have any Idea? Thanks.

Kim

If we don’t have published then we don’t have it 🙁
Ask to your shop, they must pass to you the link.

Does this ROM include multitouch screen support? If not can it be added?

Kim

You need to hire a developer to make this kind of modification or buy a model with this support included.

Scott C

It’s all about how the kernel was compiled. There’s an option to turn on touchscreen/multitouch support. Who created this ROM? The support seems to be there in the Android 7 version based on some release notes I saw indicagting a touchscreen bug was fixed. The touchscreen support is stock, it just needs to be selected during the kernel build. It’s supported via hid-multitouch.c which creates hid-multitouch.ko.

Kim

This is why you need a developer. No one will inform you about the compilation in this boxes.

Scott C

Ok, so I get a develoiper, oh wait, I am a developer. Where does a developer get the source from?
Again, who created this ROM? Is this from Tanix. It’s not on their download page. Latest is 0228

Kim

You need Allwinner knowledge and access to the sources, as you know as a developer. Tanix will don’t give you anything only compiled firmwares, as any other brand.
