Today we find a new mini PC called GMKtec M8, a machine with a peculiar design and powerful integrated cooling system.
This computer surprises us with the inclusion of the AMD Ryzen 5 6650H APU, a version of the popular 6600H that we have seen in other mini PCs. The changes in this processor are few, we have support for Microsoft Pluton security and support for slightly faster memory. We have the same six cores twelve threads and the Radeon 660M GPU. We have 16 GB of LPDDR5 6400 MHz memory soldered in Dual Channel, 2 interfaces for NVMe SSD and good network connectivity, with Wifi 6E and 2 Ethernet 2.5G ports.
We can also connect up to three displays at the same time, even thanks to its OCuLink port it is possible to install an external GPU to get the most out of it.

Inside the GMKtec M8 mini PC we find the low power AMD Ryzen 5 6650H processor manufactured in 6 nm with Zen 3 technology. A Hexa Core chip with twelve threads, up to 4.5 GHz and including a 6-core Radeon 660M iGPU. With its power we can run any demanding app at a good level and even play a game with some graphical demands.
In the RAM memory section we have 16 GB LPDDR5 6400 MHz Dual Channel that will give good performance to the iGPU. For storage we have 2 interfaces for SSD M.2 2280 NVMe PCIe 3.0 that allow us to mount up to 8 TB.
Other notable features
In terms of networking we have Wifi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2 and two 2.5G Ethernet ports. The rest of the available connectors are 3 USB-A 3.2 Gen2 ports, a USB 2.0, 3.5 mm 2-in-1 audio jack, a USB4 port (40 Gbps) with video output and 100 W PD fast charging. We also have at our disposal HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.4 connectors with 4K@60Hz HDR support which gives us the possibility to connect up to 3 simultaneous displays adding the USB4. In the front area we also have the OCuLink connector.
This mini PC includes as system Windows 11 PRO and includes an external power supply to give enough power to connect peripherals.
