Google Stadia coming soon for Chromecast with Google TV, Nvidia Shield and Xiaomi Mi Box

We already have an official release date for the Google Stadia app on Android TV, on June 23rd, 2021 we will be able to download it from the Apps store.

Google Stadia for Android TV has been a long time coming, as it has taken almost 18 months since the launch of this service that is in very low hours in terms of active users. Along with support for different devices, compatibility with non-official game controllers has been added, something that will undoubtedly facilitate the use of this cloud gaming service.

The list of officially compatible devices is short, but it highlights the new Chromecast with Google TV, the Nvidia Shield and the popular Xiaomi Boxes Mi BOX 3 and Mi BOX S. If your device is not on the official list could work by enabling the “experimental” option in the app settings, which undoubtedly opens the door to a wide compatibility.
