The ultrabook of small format are making their August and if we saw the days ago One Mix 3 with an 8.4-inch screen today we know the GPD Pocket2 Max that introduces an 8.9-inch screen in a format that seems to have demand. An Ultrabook that will be financed via crowfunding in indiegogo where we will know its final details.
Processor, RAM and storage
The GP2 P2 Max has two announced versions, one with Intel Core m3-8100Y processor and another cheaper with an Intel Celeron 3965 processor and both with a liquid cooling system and a fan. In terms of memory the version with Core m3 includes 16GB of RAM and a M.2 SSD of 512GB while the version with Celeron includes 8 GB of RAM and a M.2 SSD of 256GB.
Screen and other features
The screen will be an 8.9-inch IPS touch with a resolution of 2560 × 1600 pixels, compatible with stylus and includes a webcam on the bottom. At the connectivity level we have a 3.5mm audio jack, a USB Type-C port, a microHDMI video output and 2 USB 2.0 connectors.
This small notebook has a backlit QWERTY keyboard and fingerprint reader integrated into the power button. The measurements are 213 x 1495 x 142 mm and this time we have a touchpad to control the pointer.
