Interesting news that we received today for the UMPC GPD Pocket 2 Amber black, the economical version of the GPD Pocket 2, which at the request of many of its potential buyers updates its RAM up to 8GB, a much better figure than the scarce 4GB of its initial version. The change of RAM also reaches the price and is that now its starting price increases $ 100 to $ 540. Processor, RAM and storage

The UMPC GPD Pocket 2 Amber black integrates a powerful Intel Celeron 3965Y a low power processor that has two cores and two threads with a speed of 1.5 GHz and integrated GPU lntel HD Graphics 615 with 24 EU and a speed of up to 850 MHz. Consumption is only 4.5W TPD and to have the temperatures controlled we have an active fan inside that we can deactivate by means of a key. In terms of memory we have 8 GB of non-expandable LPDDR3 RAM and 128 GB internal storage in eMMc 5.0 format that we can expand thanks to the included SDXC card reader.

Screen and other features

The screen is a 7-inch H-IPS touch with a resolution of 1920 × 1200 pixels in 16:10 format. At the level of wireless connectivity includes an internal adapter with WiFi aC and Bluetooth 4.1.
