New low-end TV-Box that reaches stores under the name of H96 MINI Plus that at least has 2GB of RAM. It is a cut-away version (Wifi and Bluetooth) of TV-Box H96 Mini that continues using the Quad Core S905W SoC, recommended to be used in TV and monitors with FullHD resolution as maximum since its maximum resolution of video remains in 4K@30fps. Little to comment on a product that can be reserved only for $29 (€25) and we can not expect too much for that price but according to advertising supports Netflix HD.
SoC, RAM and storage
At the hardware level, the H96 mini plus includes the Amlogic S905W SoC, a Quad Core with 64-bit ARM Cortex-A53 CPU cores capable of reaching 1.5GHz and a Mali-450mp5 GPU capable of decoding video up to resolutions 4K@30fps. On the board we found 2GB of DDR3 RAM and 16GB of eMMc storage memory, which we can expand thanks to the microSD card reader that we have on the side of its box. A configuration with which we can use any multimedia suite like KODI without problems.
Other specifications
At the level of wireless connectivity we have wifi b/g/n and as connectors we found in the perimeter of the plastic box an HDMI 2.0a interface, a pair of USB 2.0 ports, an analog A / V output and a network connector type RJ45 with 10/100 speed.
The operating system is Android 7.1.2 and as always among the accessories we have an IR remote control.
