Mediatek has just presented its new mid-range SoC called HELIO P65, a chip that as you can imagine is a little below Helio P70. This new SoC is an Octa Core manufactured in 12 nm with the focus placed according to the brand in the photograph, with support for cameras up to 48MP, dual 16MP + 16MP and multiple hardware and software technologies for image and game enhancement. The IA of this chip is also state-of-the-art and doubles the power achieved by the Helio P60.
The new Helio P65 is a SoC Octa Core with 2 ARM Cortex-A75 processors for tasks that need high performance with a maximum frequency of 2Ghz + 6 ARM Cortex-A55 processors oriented to a normal use and more energy efficient. The GPU that supports these processors is a MALI-G52mp2 ARM with a maximum speed of 820Mhz. This SoC includes support for LPDDR3, LPDDR4x, eMMc 5.1 storage and screens with resolutions of 2520 x 1080 pixels. It also includes FM Radio, GPS, WiFi aC, Bluetooth 5.0, fast charge Pump Express and a 4G-LTE modem Cat-7 DL / Cat-13 UL.
- HELIO P65 is currently in production and we can see it mounted on all types of mid-range smartphones at the end of this month of July.
