The Hisense brand presents time to time new models of Smartphone with dual screen with eInk and this time we have a very interesting model called HiSense A6L, which looks like the successor of the previous Hisense A6. This model has fairly modern output specifications, something not very common in these Smartphones that seems to always cut the hardware specs to compensate for the installation of another extra screen.
SoC, RAM and storage
The HiSense A6L incorporates as a core a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC, an Octa Core with a pair of clusters of 4 Kyro 260 cores each and an Adreno 512 GPU. This model is mounted on a 6GB RAM board and has a version that integrates 64 / 128GB Internal storage expandable by microSD up to 256GB.
Display and other specifications
In this mobile we find two screens, on the one hand we have a classic 6.53 inch LCD with top notch with FullHD+ 2340 × 1080 resolution and if we turn it around we have a 5.84″ electronic ink screen with HD+ 1440 × 720 resolution. In both screens we can use the Android system where the eInk screen is ideal for static content and the LCD to see dynamic elements, the electronic ink side can also be used as a classic electronic reader.
This smartphone is equipped with Wi-Fi + Bluetooth, 3800 mAh battery with 18W fast charge and a 4G-LTE Dual SIM modem. The photography section has a 20 MP front camera and three 24 + 8 MP wide-angle rear cameras with flash and portrait mode on all cameras. The operating system is Android 9 Pie customized by Hisense, we have USB Type-C connector and a 3.5mm audio jack. As an unlocking system we have a fingerprint reader on the side and it is compatible with facial unlocking.
