New projector option with HD resolution, the minimum for a more than basic use, which appears in Chinese stores under the name of Javoda E500. A small projector with 23 x 18 x 9 cm with quite normal technical specifications in its range. As always in this type of low-cost projectors without Android we recommend adding a miniPC or TV-box since if we use it as a multimedia center with the native player we will have problems with some audio and video formats, such as AC3, because of codecs.
Projector specifications
The Javoda E500 projector is an LCD with a real resolution of 1280×720 pixels, brightness of 150 ANSI Lumens and a 2000:1 contrast. The focus, Zoom and keystone correction are manual and we can get a screen with dimensions between 50″ and 200″ with a projection distance between 1 and 3 meters. It can be hung upside down on the ceiling since it has a function to flip the image and at the bottom an adjustable foot. The chassis is made of plastic, it is cooled by a fan and it has a single internal speaker whose power we don’t know.
Connections, multimedia and other specifications
The connection interfaces of the Javoda E500 are a USB 2.0 port, 3.5mm audio jack, AV connector, VGA. microSD card reader and two HDMI 1.4a IN ports where we can connect consoles, Blu-Ray players or any other device. An infrared remote control is also included and we have touch control knobs at the top of the chassis.
