The new Lenovo LivePods LP5 earphones are compatible with Android or iOS operating systems and significantly improve the previous Lenovo LP40. They offer updated Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity, integrated microphones and a fairly good autonomy. A headset that integrates a 13 mm drivers with double membrane very interesting. By default, with these earphones, we have a charging case with battery that has USB-C connector with fast charging and prolongs the time of use. With a charge of 1.5 hours we have full charge for the case and continue with our rhythm.

The new Lenovo LiveLP5 Bluetooth earphones comes in a cardboard box with protections for all components embedded, so it is not damaged on the transport. Inside we have the charging case and USB Type-C and one small charging cable that can be used with any 5V charger that we use with a smartphone.
Design
The Lenovo LivePods LP5 Bluetooth earphones arrive in a cardboard box with a fairly conventional design and basic product information. The components are encased so that they are not damaged during transport. Inside we have a small manual, charging case and USB-C charging cable that we can use with any conventional 5V charger up to 2.5A of our smartphone.
Lenovo LP5 TWS earphones have a quite compact and nice case, they allow us to carry them without problems and charge them with an increase of their autonomy of 12 extra hours. On the back of the case we have a USB-C connector that we can use with any charger with fast charging support up to 5V 2.5A. We have a front led to indicate the charging status in white or green battery.
These Lenovo LP5 portable earphones fit perfectly in their case, they are firmly attached thanks to their magnetic system and the fitting position is easily identified. Each headset gives us indications of its charge and connectivity thanks to the side LED, although we can also check its status in the Bluetooth connection settings.

In the two Bluetooth earphones Lenovo LivePods LP5 to control them we have a side touch zone, where it is also possible to perform different functions with each of them by touching them lightly. With these controls it is possible to change the audio track, raise or lower volume, answer calls or run the assistant of our phone.

Sound
We conducted a series of tests with the Lenovo LP5 Bluetooth earphones during several sessions during the day and found that they connect normally, the Bluetooth 5.1 connection is stable and fast, offering a good audio range for various types of music. The in-ear fit system is comfortable and very light, something that is appreciated for hours of use.

The LP5 TWS earphones mount drivers with 13 mm diameter speakers with double membrane, this gives us an adequate audio range in bass and treble, the maximum volume is not super high, yes. As we checked the sound is quite good at medium volume, at high volume we have a correct power, but not strident. The latency in games is acceptable thanks to the Bluetooth 5.1 connection that improves considerably compared to version 4.

The Lenovo LivePods LP5 wireless earphones offer us a MEMS microphone system that includes basic noise cancellation, just enough to reduce the sound of the environment and improve calls. We can give orders to the assistants and answer calls correctly, the quality is quite acceptable.

Lenovo LP5 Autonomy
These earphones can be charged through its USB-C port, we can use any mobile charger that has a power of 5V up to 2.5A. With the maximum charging power allows us to recharge in 1.5 hours to 100% which will give us autonomy of 12 hours in the box. The duration of the batteries with respect to the specifications is correct, if we turn up the volume a lot they last much less logically.

After reviewing the Lenovo LivePods LP5 earphones we can say that we are facing interesting earphones for the price they have. These earphones have Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity fast and efficient, it offers a low latency for our games on mobile. The microphone system is quite simple, but has noise reduction system, it has nothing to do with active cancellation, but they fulfill their role for calls and audio recording.
The Lenovo LP5 earphones have a pretty good sound for its price, thanks to the 13 mm drivers with dual membrane we have a fairly defined bass and treble, but if we are looking for maximum volume and quality, they are not top of the range. The real autonomy offers us about 2.5 hours with volume at 50%, with the box it is possible to get about 12 hours extra easily. The touch control system is much better than the previous Lenovo LP40.
As we have seen, the Lenovo LivePods LP5 offer interesting Bluetooth 5.1 earphones for the price. We have interesting specifications and a sound with good definition at normal volume.
