Today we are struck by an electronic ink reader on offer called Likebook Mars T80D. A reader that includes Likebook OS based on Android 6.0 as operating system and Octa Core Rockchip SoC, something not very usual in this market and that provide us with an open system not as limited as what we have in this type of readers. With this reader we are not limited to the native reader since it is compatible with more than 100 reading apps, including Kindle app and with which we can surf the internet among other things. The formats supported natively by this reader are many such as PDF, MOBI, EPUB, FB2, TXT, JPG, PNG, GIF, PPT and DOC among others.
SoC, RAM and storage
Likebook Mars T80D includes an Octa Core RK3368 SoC with ARM Cortex-A53 processors and a PowerVR G6110 GPU. We also have 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage memory that we can easily expand thanks to the microSD card reader found on the bottom of this electronic reader.
Screen and other specifications
The electronic ink screen has a resolution of 1872 x 1404 pixels with a density of 300pp, 16 gray scales, adjustable front light in 24 levels and temperature and brightness control. The battery is 3100mAh and in the connectivity section we have wifi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, audio jack and a microusb port. With a design similar to that of the Kindle Paperwhite its weight is 245 grams and the thickness of 9.3mm.
