New Chinese 4K mediaplayer that seems to be in stores, this time called M11 MAX and that is just another generic Android box like so many others.
Inside we find the processor Amlogic S905X5M manufactured in 6 nm and that is quite more powerful than its predecessor, the Amlogic S905X4. An increase in power that is noticeable in the new Mali-G310 V2 GPU that doubles its graphics power, as you can see in our review. Note that at least it comes with WiFi 6 although the RJ45 port is only a 10/100.
The operating system of this Box is Android TV 14 and it does NOT have DRM certificates to watch Netflix and similar in high quality, something we do have in the new Xiaomi TV Box S 3rd Gen that uses the same SoC. A powerful Box valid for use with all kinds of apps of all kinds, games, emulators and local video playback up to 4K resolution.
