New mini PC with display called MeenHong JX5, this time with a very small size that allows it to be carried in any pocket.
It seems that microcomputers with screens are all the rage, as we have recently seen with another 7-inch one. This super-compact device has a 5.5-inch touch screen and FullHD resolution. A resolution that allows us to read some text, but because of the size it falls short for apps with small elements. It is also possible to connect up to two extra screens from the HDMI output and the USB-C connector itself.
This computer with aluminum case offers Windows 11 system installed. In addition, it has Wifi 6 connectivity, SSD disk, Intel N100 processor and 12 GB of RAM integrated.
MeenHong JX5 Specifications
This mobile phone-sized computer MeenHong JX5 (also called ANB09) is powered by a 10nm Intel N100 processor with four cores and four threads up to 3.4 GHz. It integrates an Intel UHD Graphics GPU with 24EU supporting VP9 and h.265 video codecs up to 4K@60fps resolutions. This processor and GPU allows you to use the device for other daily multimedia or office tasks smoothly.
This peculiar mini PC has on board 12 GB of RAM LPDDR5 4800 MHz. In the storage section we have an SSD up to 2 TB GB M.2 2242 SATA/NVMe that we can easily expand.
Display and other notable features
The MeenHong JX5 ‘s display is a 5-point touchscreen with 5.5-inch size and 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. We also have Wifi 6 connectivity, Bluetooth 5.2 and a 1500 mAh battery that won’t last long. In terms of connectors, we have a full USB Type-C port, a USB-A 3.0, two USB-A 2.0 HDMI 2.0, Gigabit Ethernet and a 3.5 mm audio jack. For audio we have an integrated speaker.
The installed system if we buy it with disk is Windows 11, but we could also install Linux easily from any distribution.
