A new version of the fanless MeLE PCG02 Pro mini PC is now available, featuring the popular Intel N100 processor.
This award-winning series of MeLE fanless computers now integrates the extended Intel N100, a processor that substantially improves its performance over the previous Intel Celeron N5105. As we can see, this small machine has two 4K video outputs, an interesting feature for use in digital signage or if we have mounted multiple monitors for applications. It also integrates Wifi 6 connectivity and an Ethernet port to be connected at maximum speed anywhere.
Thanks to its design, the passive mini PC case works as a great heatsink, so it does not require an active fan to keep temperatures at bay. Ideal if we do not want noise nuisance or to avoid any maintenance and to have it on 24/7.
MeLE PCG02 Pro N100 specifications
The new MeLE PCG02 Pro Surpass integrates on board the Intel N100 processor manufactured in 10 nm. A chip with four cores and four execution threads up to 3.4 GHz. For the graphics section we have an integrated Intel UHD Graphics GPU with 24EU compatible with VP9, h.265 and AV1 video codecs up to 4K@60fps. A processor and GPU that is not designed for demanding 3D titles, but it does allow us to use the device for many other daily multimedia or office apps tasks.
We have integrated options of 8/16 GB LPDDR4 RAM that are not expandable, as it is soldered on board. For storage we have on board 128/256 GB of eMMc memory and a micro SD card reader that supports drives up to 2 TB. There are no other internal storage options.
Other notable features
For wireless connectivity, it now has a dual-band Wi-Fi 6 module and Bluetooth 5.1, where its internal antenna system has also been improved. In the connector area we have three USB 3.2 ports, 3.5 mm audio jack, Gigabit Ethernet port and a USB-C connector. We also have two HDMI 2.0a video outputs that allow 4K@60fps video playback with AV1 codec support thanks to its new processor.
In addition, this mini PC comes with the Windows 11 Pro operating system, although we can also install a Linux distribution if we want to have it as an alternative.
