MINISFORUM NAB9, now with powerful Intel Core i9-12900HK CPU

Under the name MINISFORUMNAB9, a new, more powerful version of this family of mini-PCs is presented, now with the Intel Core i9-12900HK.

Inside this computer we have this time with the Intel Core i9-12900HK processor that offers 14 cores, allowing us to launch any powerful calculation with maximum performance. In addition, this mini PC includes multiple ports of good level, since we have four video outputs with output resolution up to 4K and 2.5G high-speed network ports. It also highlights a new improved ventilation system, with more air vents, liquid metal and fan on the NVMe SSD.

On the other hand, we are surprised that it still mounts DDR4 memory instead of DDR5, which would have been more interesting to improve the performance of its integrated Intel Xe GPU.

MINISFORUM NAB9 Specifications

The MINIS FORUM NAB9 mini computer includes a powerful Intel Core i9-12900HK processor manufactured in 10nm (Intel 7). This chip has 14 cores with 8 efficient cores 6 performance cores reaching up to 5 Ghz. The GPU is anIntel Iris Xe with 96 EU that reaches 1.45 Ghz. This allows us to play a good number of demanding games in 1080p quality and use apps with demanding calculations.

In the RAM section we have two SO-SIMM DDR4 3200 Mhz slots where we can install up to 64 GB. For storage we have an SSD M.2 2280 NVMe PCIe 4.0 connector and another SATA3 with space for a 2.5-inch storage unit.

Connectivity and other outstanding features

We also have an M.2 slot to connect a Wifi/Bluetooth adapter that we must buy, as it seems that we do not have it installed. On the perimeter of the case we have 4 USB 3.2 Type-A ports, a USB 3.2 Type-C, 3.5 mm audio jack and two RJ45 2.5GB network connectors.

As for the video section, we have HDMI 2.0 video output ports with 4K@60 HDR support and another USB-C (DisplayPort only) also with support for UHD resolutions.

A small external 19 V power supply and VESA support are included as standard. The operating system in the versions with SSD included is Windows 11 Pro.
