Today we want show you the interesting Piqo mini projector launched on with overwhelming success as we can see in its statistics as it currently carries a 13818% financing and has already achieved $1.8M. A projector of reduced dimensions with FullHD resolution, with the Android operating system and multiple connectivity options compatible with Android, iOS or PC.
Projector specifications
The small Piqo has a DLP projector with a real resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels, luminosity of 200 ANSI Lumens and a contrast that is defined as high but not specific. The control of focus is manual as well as the trapezoidal correction and we can get a screen with dimensions of up to 240″.
The chassis with dimensions of 2.25 x 2.25 x 2.25 inches (5.7 x 5.7 x 5.7 cm) has touch controls at the top, in the internal area has a fan and a pair of Hi-Fi speakers. In the projector we have an internal battery that allows to play up to 50 hours of music and 5 hours of video, the recharge is fast since in 15 minutes it allows us to play up to 1 hour of video.
Connections, multimedia and other features
The connection interfaces of the Piqo are a USB 2.0 port, a 3.5mm audio jack, microSD card reader and an HDMI connector where you can connect consoles, Blu-Ray players or any other device. In the rear area we also have a small hole marked as IR but nothing is said about an included remote control.
The Piqo includes as operating system Android 7.0 with Google Play installed which allows us to install many applications. As we can see the compatibility with Netflix is announced but we assume that it is only in SD quality. As a processor we have the Amlogic S905 SoC, a Quad Core Cortex-A53 that we have known for years and is quite efficient. The size of the installed RAM or its internal storage is unknown, although it has WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity.
