Under the name of QPLOVE we found in the great AliExpress bazaar a new multimedia player based on the recent SoC Octa Core RK3566 from Rockchip.
This is a generic Smart Box that stands out little from the new models that we have seen with the latest Rockchip SoC and of which we have available a version with up to 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. The rest of its specifications allow us to use it without problems as a multimedia center for KODI or for games or emulators thanks to its GPU that is superior to the one found in the Amlogic S905X3 and S905X4 chips. Regarding the operating system, the QPLOVE already comes with Android 11 although as is quite common in this range of Chinese Box we cannot expect great things regarding system updates.
SoC, RAM and storage
The Smart TV Box QPLOVE includes Rockchip recent RK3566 SoC, a Quad Core with low-consumption, 64-bit ARM Cortex-A55 processors that theoretically go up to 1.99 Ghz, with a Mali-G52 MP2 GPU and an NPU for iA with a power of 0.8 TOPS.
For RAM we have options with 4/8 GB DDR3, the storage is 32/64/128 GB eMMc, and we have a micro SD card reader in case we want to expand the storage.
In the field of wireless connectivity, it includes Dual Band Wifi aC and Bluetooth 4.2 with internal antenna. The connectors we have in this case are a USB 3.0 port, another USB 2.0, SPDIF digital audio output, Gigabit Ethernet port and an HDMI 2.0a video output with support for resolutions up to 4k @ 60Hz HDR with which we can use this Box as 4K @ 60fps mediacenter at full resolution.
