The Shuttle brand always surprises us with compact computers for all kinds of functions and today we echo its new concept Shuttle XPC Streaming Box. A small computer with several versions intended for Gaming retransmissions, general use as video capture capture or professional use with dual capture system. A product that moves away from the conventional in the world of miniPCs given its exclusive functions.
Processor, RAM and storage
The Mini PC Shuttle XPC Streaming Box (NC03B) includes Intel Core i5-7200U or i7-7500U processors that integrates a 6th generation Intel HD Graphics GPU, chips with consumption between 15 and 25W TPD. Inside the small box of this miniPC we also have two SODIMM slots that bring 8GB of DDR4 RAM installed in two modules, as storage we have a 128GB M.2 disk as standard and we can mount a SATA3 disk in its bay for 2,5″ disks.
Other features
The available connection interfaces found on the front along with the power button have two USB 3.1 one of them Type-C. In the back we have an audio jacks, Gigabit Ethernet port and HDMI 1.4 video outputs and Display Port that allow you to connect up to two monitors at the same time. Without doubt the most interesting point is its HDMI input connector that allows us to capture and transmit live content up to 1080p 60fps h.264 with our own pre-installed software.
The audio section also seems quite careful, as standard we have an audio isolator to avoid input noise and a USB audio input and output adapter. We also have VESA support, 65W power adapter and the operating system installed as standard is Windows 10 Home.
We also have the Shuttle Panopto (XH110G) model oriented to the professional market that has dual HDMI input and with a more powerful hardware but that as an operating system has Windows IoT, something that moves it away from the home user.
