Qualcomm has just presented its new Snapdragon 712 super mid-range SoC, a Chip that, as you can guess by its numbering, is the heir of Snapdragon 710, on which it presents minimal improvements. His list of upgrades Snapdragon 712 is really short as it only differs from the previous model because it includes charging technology Quick Charge 4+, a higher maximum speed of its CPUs that reach 2.3Ghz compared to 2.2Ghz reached the Snapdragon 710 and the inclusion of audio enhancement technologies for Bluetooth TrueWireless Stereo Plus and Broadcast Audio technologies.
The Snapdragon 712 (SDM712) is an Octa Core with Kyro 360 processors with processors capables of reaching 2.3Ghz of speed. The GPU is an ADRENO 616 with support for OpenGL ES 3.2, OpenCL 2.0, Vulkan and DirectX 12. Snapdragon 712 has support for up to 8 GB of RAM of type LPDDR4x, Quick Charge 4+, GPS, NFC, WiFi 2 × 2 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.0 and includes a Snapdragon X15 LTE modem that achieves upload speeds up to 150 Mbps and download up to 800 Mbps. It also includes an ISP Spectra 250 with support for cameras up to 32MP solo and dual up to 16MP each able to capture video at 4K @ 30fps resolution.
