oday we find a peculiar mini PC with display under the name SZBOX S7, an interesting solution for some specific uses.
This computer with integrated touch screen allows us to interact with Windows directly anywhere, has a size of 7 inches and HD resolution. It is not the ideal resolution for working with a word processor, but it is sufficient for many data entry or system management applications. It is also possible to connect up to two external displays if needed.
The SZBOX S7 has a fairly rugged aluminum case suitable for industrial environments. In addition, we have Windows 11, Wifi 6, SSD disk and an Intel N100 processor with 16 GB of RAM. It also looks like it will be available with Intel N200.
SZBOX S7 Specifications
This SZBOX S7 mini PC (also called ANB09) is powered by a 10 nm Intel N100 processor with four cores and four threads up to 3.4 GHz. It integrates an Intel UHD Graphics GPU with 24EU supporting VP9 and h.265 video codecs up to 4K@60fps resolutions. This processor and GPU allows you to use the device for other daily multimedia or office tasks smoothly.
This peculiar mini PC has on board 16 GB of RAM LPDDR5 4800 MHz. As for storage we have an SSD up to 2 TB GB M.2 2242 SATA/NVMe that we can easily expand by adding another of greater capacity.
Display and other notable features
The screen of the SZBOX S7 is a 7-inch IPS touchscreen with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. We also have Wifi 6 connectivity, Bluetooth 5.2 and a 7200 mAh battery. In terms of connectors, we have a full USB Type-C port, another USB-C charging port, three USB-A 3.2, a USB-A 2.0 HDMI 2.0, Gigabit Ethernet and a 3.5 mm audio jack. For audio we have 4 speakers and the operating system installed is Windows 11.
The default system installed is Windows 11, but we could also install Linux with a little skill. In the rear area we have a support flap to put it on the table.
