Today we found a new TV-Box of the cheap range that comes with the name of T95W in the great bazaar of AliExpress.
A generic Chinese Box that this time carries Android TV 11 as OS and that does not stand out, especially neither in its design nor in the hardware inside. Its AMlogic S905W2 processor has no problems to be used as a media player and even supports the AV1 video codec and has support for content up to HDR 10. An interesting processor within the cheap range, as you can see in our review.
As always we warn you that it is not recommended to use the T95W to view paid platforms such as Netflix, as it does not have certificates to view them in maximum video quality, for this we have better options. Interestingly, this Box comes with a Bluetooth remote control with a button for voice commands and several shortcuts, one of them to Netflix.
T95W Box Specifications
The T95W includes a 12nm Amlogic S905W2 SoC soldered on its small motherboard. This chip is a Quad Core with low power ARM Cortex-A35 processors and a MALI-G3 MP2 GPU. This processor is enough to run the included Android 11, streaming apps, KODI, IPTV and some simple 3D games. As always, the CPU is cooled by a fanless heat sink, so there is no noise.
In this box we have a single version with 2/4 GB of RAM DDR3 and 16/32/64 GB of storage memory eMMc. It also has a reader for memory cards in micro SD format that allows us to increase its internal storage capacity.
Other noteworthy features
In terms of wireless connectivity, the T95W has dual-band Wi-Fi aC with internal antenna and Bluetooth 5.0. As for connectors, on the perimeter of its rectangular plastic case we find 2 USB 2.0 ports, 3.5 mm connector for analogue audio and video, SPDIF digital audio output, HDMI 2.1 video output port and an RJ-45 10/100 network connector.
Included accessories include a Bluetooth remote control, power supply and all the necessary cables to get it up and running right out of the box.
