New generic Box that we found on AliExpress under the name of Transpeed 6K and that is based on the recent SoC Quad Core Allwinner H618.
A Box that already comes with at least Android 12 as OS and with a processor that supports hardware decoding of the AV1 codec, although it is still a small evolution of the Allwinner H616. The rest of its hardware falls within the normal range and allows us to use this box as a multimedia center up to 4K UHD resolutions without problems or to install and use apps of all kinds such as KODI, emulators and games without too much graphic demand.
As always, in this type of Box, it is better to forget about updates and remember that they are not suitable for viewing videos in the highest quality in the apps of paid streaming platforms such as Netflix.
Transpeed 6K Specifications
Inside the Smart Box Transpeed 6K we have an Allwinner H618 SoC manufactured in 28 nm. This is a chip that integrates 4 ARM Cortex-A53 processors capable of reaching 1.5 Ghz and an ARM Mali-G31 MP2 GPU.
Of this Android Box we have the usual versions with 2/4 GB of DDR3 RAM (although it seems that the 4 GB version is DDR4) and 16/32/64 GB of eMMc storage memory that we can expand thanks to the microSD slot that includes on the side of its small plastic box.
Other features
In the field of wireless connectivity, we have Wi-Fi 6 with internal antenna and Bluetooth 5.0. As connectors, we find in its plastic box 2 USB 2.0 ports, 10/100 network connector, analogue audio and video output jack and an HDMI 2.0 video output port that allows us to take video up to 4K@60fps resolutions.
A simple infrared remote control, power supply and HDMI cable are delivered with the Transpeed 6K to be able to start using this Box just by taking it out of the box and connecting it to our TV.
