“New” low consumption and really compact mini PC that we find today in stores under the name of TRIGKEY Speed S1.
One more mini PC that is totally the same as the Beelink SEi8 i3-8109U, which we saw in review just a few days ago, with a different name and with a slightly cheaper price. Like the Beelink, this small computer integrates the Intel Core i3-8109U processor that has an Intel Iris Plus 655 GPU inside, a chip enough to move Windows 10, perform office tasks, navigation and even move a game without too many graphic pretensions. Interesting for its RAM and storage expansion capacity, something that you can see in detail in the Beelink review.
Processor, RAM and storage
The TRIGKEY Speed S1 includes at its heart a processor made of 14nm Intel Core i3-8109U, a Dual core with four threads with a maximum speed that reaches 3.6 GHz and that integrates an Intel Iris Plus 655 GPU with a maximum dynamic frequency of graphics of 1.05 Ghz.
For RAM memory we have available versions with 8/16 GB of the Crucial brand, although we can install up to 64 GB DDR4 2400MHz, for internal storage we have connectors for M.2 2280 SATA, NVMe and SATA3 SSD disk with space for a disk of 2 , 5″ in the box, though it comes standard with a 256 or 512 GB M.2 Kingston SSD from the A2000 series.
For wireless connectivity, we have inside a card with an Intel AC 7265 chip with Dual Band aC Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0. On the front of the box we have two USB 3.0 ports, a USB-C port for data, a 3.5 mm audio jack and a BIOS reset button. At the back we have a Gigabit network connector, two USB 3.0 ports and two HDMI 1.4b video outputs with maximum support for 4K @ 30fps resolutions.
The measurements of the TRIGKEY Speed S1 case are only 126×112.7×40.7 mm, and it is compatible with VESA mounting, for which it includes an adapter.
