Today we found a new mini PC called X41HQ in the Aliexpress.com online store. It is a version of a previous model which this time integrates an NVMe slot in addition to SATA.
This new mini PC with aluminum case integrates into its small board Intel Core i5-7300HQ or i7-7820HQ processors, a Kaby Lake manufactured in 14 nm that today still have excellent performance even for demanding tasks. Another mini PC option that allows us to replace any obsolete tower we have for a reasonable price and with a much higher performance.
Processor, RAM and Storage
We have two versions of this X41HQ mini PC, one with the Intel Core i5-7300HQ processor, a four-wire Quad Core with x86 processors capable of reaching 3.5 GHz and an Intel HD Graphics 630 GPU. The second available alternative is more powerful and has a powerful Intel Core i7-7820HQ processor, an eight-wire Quad Core that reaches 3.9 GHz and also an Intel HD Graphics 630 GPU.
For the RAM we have two SODIMM sockets where we can install up to 16 GB of DDR4L memory. In the storage section there is an NVMe M.2 port and a SATA3 connector with space to install a 2.5″ disk storage unit.
Other specifications
This mini-PC has plenty of connectors as it has two 3.5 mm audio jacks and 4 USB 3.0 on the front, on the back we have 4 USB 3.0, two gigabit network connectors and HDMI 1.4 and DisplayPort 2.0 video outputs that support up to 4K@60 fps resolution. We also have a pair of internal Wifi antennas and a mini-pcie connector where it looks like we have a Dual Band Wifi card apparently.
