X96 S400 a tiny low cost media player with Android 10

Today we find on Aliexpress.com a small Stick of the cheapest range valid to smartize any TV in a basic way called X96 S400.

A Stick with very simple features, although its version with 2GB of RAM would allow us to use it with KODI up to 1080p or for IPTV if we don’t demand too much of it. Its operating system is Android 10 but optimization for this type of device as we already know is always very basic. SoC, RAM and storage

The X96 S400 stick includes the Allwinner H313 SoC as an engine, a Quad Core with ARM Cortex-A53 processors that integrates Mali-G31 MP2 GPU with native decoding of the h.265 and VP9 codecs and support for HDR10 video. We have on-board versions with 1/2 GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 8/16 GB of eMMc storage memory that can be expanded from the micro SD card reader that this equipment includes on the side of its plastic box.

Other specs

Regarding wireless connectivity, this TV-stick has Wi-Fi b / g / n but does not have Bluetooth. As connectors, we have an HDMI 2.1 interface, a USB 2.0 port, a jack to connect the IR sensor and a micro USB port for power. Also supplied with this mediaplayer is a basic quality IR remote control with hotkeys.
