XGIMI MoGo Pro an FHD projector with Android TV 9 certified by Google

The well-known Chinese brand of XGIMI projectors specialized in the mid-range has just launched via the microfinance portal IndieGogo a campaign to raise funds for its new XGIMI MoGo Pro. This new projector stands out for its design by including Android TV 9.0 certified by Google that have installed Google assistant and Chromecast. The design of this projector is very careful and as we are accustomed this brand has Harman Kardon 3W speakers and an internal battery that will allow up to 3h of playback.

Projector specifications

The XGIMI MoGo Pro includes a DLP projector with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels, luminosity of 250-300 ANSI Lumens while in the XGIMI MoGo the resolution remains at 720 × 540 pixels and the brightness at 210 ANSI. The focus control is automatic as the trapezoidal correction and we can get a screen with dimensions between 30″ and 100″.

This projector measures only 146x105x94 mm, weighs only 900 grams and has touch controls at the top.

Connections, multimedia and other features

The connection interfaces of the XGIMI MoGo Pro are a USB port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and an HDMI connector where you can connect consoles or any other device.

As a processor we have the Amlogic T950X2 SoC (version of the current S905X2), a Quad Core with ARM Cortex-A53 processors that reaches 1.8Ghz and a Mali-G31 GPU. The RAM is 2GB and its internal storage is 16GB. It also includes WiFi and Bluetooth although at the moment we do not have all the specifications.

Price and availability

  • The XGIMI MoGo / Pro can be booked on the IndieGoGo.com portal from $299 (€266) in its most basic version of 540P resolution and shipments are scheduled for October 2019.
