It has just been introduced by Xiaomi in China a new gadget, the Xiaomi Mijia Projector. It is a compact device of only 8.4 x 4.5 x 8.6 inches (215 x 116 x 218 mm) with careful design that has a metal box and also includes compatibility with Dolby and DTS sound, 3D video and other advanced features.
The optics of the Xiaomi Mijia Projector uses DLP technology with a native resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels, a brightness of 800 ANSI Lumens and a contrast of 5000:1. The focus is manual and the trapezoidal correction is automatic, we can get a screen that goes between 80 and 120 inches with a projection distance that goes between 6.5 to 10 ft (2 to 3m). This projector also includes 10W stereo speakers each and a remote control in their accessories.
SoC, RAM and storage
Xiaomi Mijia Projector includes as a core a SoC Quad Core Amlogic T968 that has ARM Cortex-A53 processors and an ARM GPU MALI-T830mp2 with 2 GB of DDR3 RAM and 16 GB of storage memory if we want to increase the storage memory we will have to throw of the USB ports of this projector.
Other specifications
This projector also includes Wi-Fi ac 2×2, Bluetooth 4.1, while at the connector level we find an HDMI 2.0 port, a 3.5mm audio jack that is also SPIDF and a USB 3.0 port.
The operating system is Android 6.0 although we have the MIUI TV layer but only the Chinese language.
