This new router stands out for its new more discreet and modern design similar to that of a game console, measuring 250x70x300mm. A body where 6 internal antennas are hidden with a theoretical maximum speed that can reach no less than 6454 Mbps with Wi-Fi 6 compatibility.
A router that is behind the Xiaomi Router 7000, but still has the latest connectivity technologies, including the ability to create MESH networks. The Xiaomi Router 6500 Pro is capable of managing up to 715 connected devices and as we have said includes Wi-Fi MESH compatibility.

The Xiaomi Router 6500 Pro is controlled by a Qualcomm Quad Core processor with low-power ARM Cortex-A53 processors reaching up to 1.3 Ghz, supported by 1 GB of RAM.
This router includes IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be and IEEE 802.3/3u/3ab protocols. This router also supports 4K QAM, OFDMA, MU-MIMO, BSS Coloring, IPv6 and WPA3 encryption. The 2.4Ghz band has 2×2 antennas and reaches a maximum speed of 688.90 Mbps and while the 5Ghz band also has other independent 4×4 antennas at 160 Mhz that reach up to 5764.80 Mbps.
In the Xiaomi Router 6500 Pro we have on its back four 2.5GB ports, as it lacks USB connectors. The operating system, as usual in this brand, is based on OpenWRT with the corresponding MiWiFi layer, which we can manage and monitor through a Xiaomi app.
