This device is undoubtedly oriented to digital signage or similar, since thanks to its 7 HDMI ports it is possible to connect many screens up to 8K@60fps resolution and supports AV1 codec decoding. X98 HUB Specifications
This unique Android Box is powered by the powerful Penta Core Amlogic S928X-J processor manufactured in 12 nm. A chip with a high performance ARM Cortex-A76 core accompanied by 4 ARM Cortex-A55 cores. The iGPU we have in this Amlogic is an ARM-G57 MC2 with support for OpenGL ES 3.2, Vulkan 1.2 and OpenCL 2.0. It also includes support for HDR10, HDR10, HLG, AV1, VP9, H.265, among others. Integrated also offers a 3.2 TOPS AI task accelerator with support for TensorFlow and Caffe.
There is a single version of this Box with 4 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 32 GB of eMMc storage memory. A micro SD card reader is also included in case we want to expand the storage.
Other outstanding features
Wireless connectivity is guaranteed by a chip with WIFI 6 MIMO and Bluetooth 5.2. The included connectors are a RJ45 Gigabit network port, a USB-C port, three USB 3.0 connectors, microSD reader, 3.5 mm audio jack and SPDIF optical output. On one side we have the 7 HDMI 2.1a ports capable of outputting up to 8K video resolutions at 60fps, although if we use them all at once it will certainly limit the total output.
