The new CarlinKit Mini Ultra 3, a tiny device to connect to Apple CarPlay or Android Auto wirelessly, is now available.
A new evolution of this micro Stick that improves some of its features. Thanks to it, without taking up much space, we can connect wirelessly, connect our mobile with the car and get all the advantages of this system without the need for cumbersome cables. To be able to use this hardware we need our car to be compatible with the Apple CarPlay system or Android Auto. A device that in this version only requires using Bluetooth to connect with our Smartphone directly.
Starting to use this Stick is very simple, the whole system is plug and play, connect and go. It is also possible to connect to the internet to receive OTA system updates, improving its functions.
CarlinKit Mini Ultra 3 Specifications
This new stick has two versions, the CarlinKit Mini Ultra is very compact in size and has a USB-A connector and comes with an extra USB-C adapter. This stick automatically connects directly via Bluetooth, so we do not need to always connect it to the mobile. As we can see from its specifications, it is compatible with touch screens, steering wheel control systems, calls and other auxiliary panels.
Using it is very simple, we just have to let it physically connect to the USB port of our radio. Once the connection is established, it is configured by pairing it with our smartphone as indicated in the instructions in the manual, then we will not have to repeat the process again.
Compatibility
Before buying it you have to keep in mind that to work our car must be compatible with the CarPlay system, usually found in the brands Honda, Nissan, Ford, Audio, Peugeot, Toyota, Skoda, VW, Volvo, Hyundai, Cupra, Seat and Chevrolet among others. It is not compatible with BMW or other brands, please check.
