The new POCO C81 is starting to hit stores around the world. This affordable Xiaomi device is essentially a scaled-down version of the POCO C81 Pro with reduced battery capacity and screen size, which was unveiled globally a few days ago.
Powering the device is an Octa-Core UNISOC T7250 processor, which is actually a rebranded UNISOC T615 that scores 306,000 points on Antutu v10. It features 6 GB of LPDDR4X RAM, which can be virtually expanded by an additional 4 GB. For storage, we have 64 GB, which can be expanded via the microSD card reader by up to an additional 2 TB.
This phone features a 6.88-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1600 × 720 pixels, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and a brightness of up to 600 nits. The front camera is 8 MP and the rear camera is 13 MP with a built-in flash and supported by an auxiliary lens. Inside its IP52-rated body, we find a 5200 mAh battery with 15 W charging and 7.5 W reverse charging.
This POCO features Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, a 4G LTE modem with dual SIM, and GPS. The fingerprint reader is located on the power button; it has a USB Type-C port, a 3.5 mm audio jack, and a single speaker for audio. As is typical for this Xiaomi sub-brand, this device comes with the Xiaomi HyperOS 2 skin based on Android 15 and a solid update roadmap.
