The global version of the OPPO Pad 5 is priced quite reasonably; it differs significantly from the Chinese version, which features a 12.1-inch 2.8K display compatible with a stylus and a Mediatek SoC that isn’t quite as high-end as the one in the original version.
Inside, we find a MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra processor with an AnTuTu v11 score of around 650,000 points. The RAM, which is soldered onto the board, comes in 8/12/16GBLPDDR5X variants. For storage, there are versions with 128/256/512 GB of high-speed UFS 3.1, which this time cannot be expanded with a microSD card.
The display on this OPPO is a 12.1-inch IPS panel with a resolution of 2800 x 1980 pixels, a maximum brightness of 900 nits, a 7:5 aspect ratio, and a configurable refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. In terms of photography, the rear features an 8 MP sensor, while the front has another 8 MP sensor.
For audio, there are four speakers, and the battery is a 10,050 mAh unit with 33 W fast charging. It also features light, gravity, Hall, and color temperature sensors, a gyroscope, Wi-Fi 6 wireless connectivity, Bluetooth 5.4, and a single USB-C port.
Finally, it’s worth noting that the device features a metal body that is 6.83 mm thick, weighs 597 grams, and runs on Android 16 with the ColorOS 16 overlay.
