OPPO Reno16 Pro unveiled, featuring MediaTek Dimensity 9500s and a 200 MP Camera

A new high-end smartphone, the OPPO Reno16 Pro, is now available in China. This model stands out particularly for its camera capabilities, featuring a 200-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and three additional 50-megapixel cameras—a setup that will undoubtedly deliver high-quality photos.

Oppo Reno16 Pro Specs It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s Octa-Core SoC, manufactured on a 3 nm process, which is a scaled-down version of the Dimensity 9500. It includes an ARM Cortex-X925 prime core and an ARM Mali-G925 Immortalis MP12 GPU. This chip scores around 2,700,000 points on AnTuTu v11. RAM options include 12/16 GB of LPDDR5X, and for storage, there are versions with 256/512 GB of high-speed UFS 3.1. It features a 7,000 mAh battery with 80 W fast charging and 50 W wireless charging.

The display on this OPPO is a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2,772 x 1,272 pixels, a maximum brightness of 3,500 nits, and a configurable refresh rate of up to 120 Hz.

In terms of photography, it features a 200 MP OIS main camera, a 50 MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 50 MP OIS telephoto camera equivalent to an 80 mm lens, and a 50 MP front-facing camera.

For audio, it features two speakers, Wi-Fi 7 connectivity, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, GPS, a 4G/5G modem, an in-display fingerprint reader, and a USB-C port. The operating system is Android 16 with the ColorOS 16 skin, and the device is IP69K certified.

Price and where to buy

  • The OPPO Reno16 Pro is currently only available in China starting at around €510. Given its specs, it’s sure to arrive in the West soon, though for now, we’ll likely be able to find it on AliExpress shortly.
