Mini-PCs are constantly appearing that breathe new life into older processors, such as the AMD Ryzen 3 4300U, which is making a comeback in a version of the compact FIREBAT R3.
The AMD Ryzen 3 4300U, manufactured on a 7-nm process, was launched in 2020. This chip features four Zen 2 CPU cores with 4 threads and a clock speed of up to 3.7 GHz. On the graphics side, it includes a Radeon Vega 5 GPU running at up to 1.4 GHz, which will allow you to play less demanding 3D games.
This mini PC comes with 8/16 GB of LPDDR4 RAM. NOTE that this RAM is soldered onto the motherboard, so it cannot be upgraded in any way. For storage, it features a 256/512 GB 2280 PCIe 3.0×4 SSD and an additional free slot in case you want to install another M.2 SSD.
