The new Motorola Edge 70 Max is launching globally. This powerful high-end smartphone now features a vapor chamber cooling system, making it easy to play graphically demanding 3D games.
Inside its IP69 and MIL-STD-810H housing, the device is powered by the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, which scores around 3,000,000 on Antutu v11 and is backed by a cooling system that makes it suitable for many hours of gaming.
It features a large 7,100 mAh battery with 90 W fast charging and 25 W wireless charging, providing many hours of battery life. Finally, the operating system is Android 16, for which we’ll receive updates for several years. A new smartphone for the Edge 70 family, which continues to cover more and more usage segments with each new release.

Motorola Edge 70 Max Specifications
The powerful 3-nm 8-core processor, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, powers this new Motorola. Inside this chip, we find a 2-cluster configuration: the fastest cluster features 2 prime cores clocked at up to 4.6 GHz and a second cluster with 6 performance cores reaching 3.62 GHz. The GPU is an Adreno 830, which promises a performance boost and efficiency gains of nearly 25% compared to the previous generation.
RAM options include 8 or 12 GB of LPDDR5X, though it can be virtually expanded, as is customary. For storage, there are versions with 256 or 512 GB of high-speed UFS, and it does not include a microSD card reader.
Display and Other Features
The display is a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1440 x 3168 pixels, a 144 Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of up to 7,000 nits, and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection.
For selfies, there’s a 16 MP front-facing camera, while the rear features a 50 MP main OIS sensor, an 8 MP wide-angle lens, and an auxiliary camera. It also features an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint reader; an infrared sensor; 5G connectivity with dual SIM; Wi-Fi 6; Bluetooth 5.4; NFC; and GPS, among other features.
As for connectivity ports, this new phone features a USB-C port for data transfer and charging. The battery has a capacity of 7,100 mAh with 90 W fast charging and 25 W wireless charging, and for audio, it includes two speakers compatible with Dolby Atmos.
Availability and Price
- The Motorola Edge 70 Max has already begun its global rollout, though its launch price is unknown—it certainly won’t be cheap at first. It’s expected to become available on Amazon over the next few months.
