The new Magcubic HY320 Pro projector is an upgrade from the previous HY300 PRO, featuring higher native resolution and a remote control with a gyroscope.
This new compact projector builds on the best-selling HY300 PRO. It now comes standard with a remote control featuring a gyroscope, a microphone, and improved Wi-Fi 6 connectivity compared to the base model. Inside, it features the Allwinner H726 processor, which ensures smooth system performance. This projector’s native resolution is HD at 1920 x 1080 pixels, which is double that of the base model.
The Android 14 operating system allows you to use multimedia apps like Kodi or IPTV. It’s perfect for easily playing video files without any issues, though you might want to connect an external TV stick or set-top box with greater capabilities.
Magcubic HY320 Pro Projector Specifications
The Magcubic HY320 Pro projector features LCD projection technology, a nativ eFull HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, and a maximum brightness of up to 400 ANSI lumens exceeding the 300 lumens of the original model. Focus and keystone correction are automatic or can be adjusted via the remote control. You can achieve a screen size within the recommended range of 35″ to 135″ by placing the projector at a distance of between 0.9 and 3 m.
As is typical for its small size, there are no control buttons on the unit itself. It can only be controlled via the Bluetooth remote control with a microphone, which is included as standard.
Connections, Multimedia, and Other Notable Features
This projector features the popular, low-power Allwinner H726 SoC . This chip includes four ARM Cortex-A53 processors capable of reaching 1.9 GHz and an ARM Mali-G31 MP2 GPU with support for HDR10 video and MEMC. The motherboard also includes 1 GB of DDR4 RAM, 8 GB of storage, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.4.
The HY320 Proa features a single USB 2.0 port, an analog audio and video input port, and an HDMI 2.0 video input connector. For audio, the base unit includes a 5 W speaker, and it runs on Android 14, which is quite modern.
