The new OnePlus N6x has been unveiled as a device that won’t be available in Europe or the Americas, since OPPO discontinued its OnePlus brand outside of Asia just a few days ago and will now only market Realme in Europe.
This mid-range smartphone features the MediaTek Dimensity 6360 APEX processor;it’s essentially a Dimensity 6300 with a slightly faster GPU and a few minor updates. It has 4 GB of RAM, and storage options include 64 GB or 128 GB, which can be expanded via a microSD slot up to 2 TB.
Its display features a 6.57-inch IPS panel with a resolution of 1570 x 720 pixels, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of up to 900 nits. For selfies, there’s a 5 MP front-facing camera that complements the 13 MP rear camera and an LED flash. It also features an in-display fingerprint reader, 5G connectivity with Dual SIM, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.4, and GPS.
In terms of connectivity ports, this new phone features a USB Type-C 2.0 OTG port for data transfer and charging, as well as a 3.5 mm audio jack. The battery has a capacity of 7,000 mAh with 15 W fast charging and 5 W reverse charging, and it includes a single speaker for audio. The device is IP64-rated for water and dust resistance, meets MIL-STD-810H standards, and weighs 214 grams. It runs Android 16 with the brand’s custom UI, OxygenOS 16, which includes the usual AI-powered tools.
