The new REDMI M series kicks off in China with the REDMI M100, which features the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 SoC. A new mid-range Redmi that stands out for its impressive 7,900 mAh battery with 45 W fast charging and 22.5 W reverse charging.
Its processor is a 4-nm octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 5, and we estimate it could score 620,000 points on Antutu v11—enough for the average user and capable of running apps smoothly and handling mid-range games. This device comes in versions with 6/8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and for storage, it offers 128/256 GB of UFS 2.2, with the option to expand it up to 2 TB thanks to the included microSD card slot.
The display is a 6.9-inch IPS panel with an HD resolution of 1600 × 720 pixels and a 120 Hz refresh rate and is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i. The front-facing camera is 8 MP; the main rear camera has a 13 MP sensor, supported by a secondary camera and an LED flash.
It includes Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, GPS, and a 5G modem with dual SIM (no eSIM). It features a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer, a 3.5 mm audio jack, an in-display fingerprint reader, and a dual-speaker audio system. The operating system is Android 16 with the Xiaomi HyperOS 3 user interface, and the device is IP64-certified.
