The Wanbo Cube 2S projector is now available for purchase. It features a unique design and a different operating system compared to the Google TV version, known as the Wanbo Cube 2 Pro.
This projector doesn’t stand out for featuring the VIDAA system an interface typically found on Hisense TVs which we find to be inferior to Google TV in terms of features, though somewhat simpler. The specifications are identical: it offers Full HD resolution and a brightness of 500 ANSI lumens. While this isn’t the highest on the market, it’s sufficient for use in dimly lit environments. It includes all DRM certifications, so you can watch Netflix, Prime Video, Disney, and other streaming platforms in high resolution without any issues.
On the front of the projector is a camera for autofocus, this ensures you’ll always have a perfect image without having to adjust it with the remote control.
Wanbo Cube 2S Specifications
This projector features LCD LED technology with a native Full HD 1080p resolution, a contrast ratio of 2000:1, and a brightness of 500 ANSI lumens. It features autofocus and automatic screen correction thanks to its built-in front-facing camera, and you can achieve a screen size with recommended dimensions between 40″ and 120″ by placing it between 1.1 and 3.4 m away.
It features a rotating gimbal that allows it to swivel 230°, making it easy to aim in any direction you need. As for connectors, the Wanbo Cube 2S features a USB 2.0 port, a 3.5 mm audio jack, and an HDMI 1.4 video input connector. We don’t know which SoC it uses, though we do know it includes only 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of storage, so its performance will be fairly basic.
