MediaTek continues to expand its presence in the computing segment. Now, with the official announcement of the new Dimensity CX C10, it offers another powerful option.
An ARM-based SoC featuring an “All Big Core” architecture, with an eight-core CPU, an 11-core GPU, and an NPU for AI processing, designed for 2-in-1 convertibles and high-end tablets. Manufactured using a cutting-edge 3-nanometer process, this processor aims to compete with other solutions from Apple and Intel in terms of efficiency. Thanks to this process, it offers an optimal balance between high multithreaded performance, low thermal consumption, and extended battery life.
MediaTek Dimensity CX C10, a computing SoC
The processor features a high-performance multi-core configuration highlighted by new, state-of-the-art ARM architecture cores, accompanied by a dedicated Immortalis-G925 GPU that supports hardware acceleration for ray tracing and advanced graphics rendering. It also includes a dedicated 55 TOPS APU-architecture NPU, optimized to process generative AI models and deep learning tasks locally, more than meeting the requirements for running the advanced AI features built into modern operating systems.
In terms of memory and storage, the chip supports high-speed LPDDR5X RAM modules in extended-bandwidth configurations, as well as PCIe 4.0 SSDs and UFS 4.0 storage. Connectivity is covered by integrated support for USB4/Thunderbolt ports, independent video output for two external monitors at 4K resolution at 120 Hz, and state-of-the-art wireless connectivity with Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.
Launch and Availability
