The new VIVO Y600i has been launched in China. It’s a smartphone that stands out primarily for its reinforced body and its 8,000 mAh battery with 44 W fast charging, which ensures good battery life.
Inside its reinforced chassis—which is IP69-certified and has a 5-star SGS rating, ensuring strong resistance to dust and splashes— we find a 4-nm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 octa-core processor with 5G connectivity that scores around 420,000 points on AnTuTu v11. This new smartphone comes in versions with 6 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128/256 GB of UFS 2.2 storage, expandable via a microSD card slot located on the side.
The VIVO Y600i’s display is a 6.87-inch IPS panel with a resolution of 1592 × 720 pixels, 1200 nits of brightness, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and a 19.9:9 aspect ratio. The front camera is 8 MP; the rear camera is 50 MP and includes an LED flash.
It also features Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, an IR sensor, a 5G modem with dual SIM support, and GPS. The battery has a capacity of 8,000 mAh with 44 W fast charging; it features a fingerprint sensor integrated into the power button, a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer, and a 3.5 mm audio jack and weighs 230 grams.
Finally, it runs Android 16 with the OriginOS 6 user interface.
