The new GMKtec EVO-X5 Pro mini-computer is now available a device that offers powerful hardware for AI and general computing at a price that few can afford.
This machine is designed for those who want to run AI workloads locally, thanks to its 131 TOPS of processing power. Powering the system is the AMD Ryzen AI Max 495 processor, featuring 16 cores and 32 threads, clocking up to 5.2 GHz, and an AI core with 55 TOPS of processing power. The graphics engine is the Radeon 8060S GPU with 40 cores a pretty impressive component. It also features two 10G Ethernet ports for setting up a high-performance online server.
This machine offers 3 M.2 NVMe drive slots with a total capacity of up to 24 TB. It features a built-in 320 W power supply that can handle any power requirement.

At its core is the AMD Ryzen AI Max 495 APU, manufactured using efficient 4-nm technology, which powers the system. This is a 16-core, 32-thread chip based on Zen 5 technology that reaches speeds of up to 5.2 GHz and incorporates a 55 TOPS AI core for artificial intelligence tasks, reaching 131 TOPS when combined with the CPU. It features the 40-core Radeon 8060S iGPU, which can handle moderately demanding games. For cooling, it features a triple-fan system, a vapor chamber, and three power modes.
The total RAM integrated on the board is 192 GB of 8533 MHz LPDDR5 in an octa-channel configuration, which boosts the speed of the integrated GPU and allows for up to 160 GB of VRAM. For storage, there are three slots for M.2 2280 NVMe PCIe 4.0×4 SSDs, allowing for up to 24 TB if desired.

On the front panel, there’s a fingerprint reader, which makes secure access easier. For wireless connectivity, it features an M.2 slot with Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4, as well as two 10G Ethernet ports.
